Econo Lodge Scranton Near Montage Mountain

This place has a great location close to downtown, restaurants, local stores, and the festival.

overall, I felt it was worth the money.

the floors were dirty, but other than that it was nice. Not much close byt though, without driving...even for a decent meal.

At Booked.net it said my total price was $70. When I checked in I was charged $90. The woman at the front desk barely spoke English, so arguing the price was pointless. I also booked a king room and got two double beds instead with very stiff mattresses. There was no way to change rooms because the hotel was booked due to the RockstarUproar Festival. (Which was AMAZING Btw! Highly reccommend that festival!) The bathroom was disgusting and the hotel itself smelled like an old lady's closet. Gross! Oh and I didn't book a smoking room because I don't smoke, but I don't think there were any smoking rooms anyway. People were going outside, in the rain, to smoke.

Conveniently located near the festival 🎶 and just a short walk from Connell Park. The location made it easy and comfortable to get around.

I did not like this Econo Lodge. It was horrible. The place needs to be torn down and rebuilt. Safety features are missing, its was dirty, run down and in bad condition. This location is a shame for the Econo Lodge chains.

The outside doors to the hotel could not be closed. The buildings doors were off level and for safety reasons it was un nerving.

Had queen room with an awesome shower, the bathroom.

This place is in a great location close to restaurants, stores, and Montage Mountain, and I booked a new room with a fantastic shower and bathroom.

Clean hotel with courteous staff. Favourable location to Mercatili Segilia Park.

it was inexpensive. the staff was friendly.

there was crud in the carpet where floor met wall, like it hadn't been thoroughly vacuumed. there was a terrible smell in the corridor.

Convenient location close to local stores and restaurants 🍽️. The rooms are spacious and affordable, with a fantastic shower in the bathroom 🚿.

One of the pillow cases had not been changed from the last visitor and when I went to the office for a fresh one they did not have one.

The mattress was okay. It was fairly comfortable.

The disgusting condition of the hotel, the drug dealers out front when we arrived, the dirty unclean room, the overwhelming stench of air- fresheners clearly trying to cover-up something worse. The blankets with holes in them or indescribable stains. The stains on the couch.

The room was well-stocked and affordable, with AC and a bathroom. The location was great, close to Montage Mountain, the festival, and downtown.

The econo lODGE in scranton was a a very dirty motel. The halls were smelling of smoke and dirt and the outside had trash bins that were never emptied, garbage all around the place. Just terrible! They did not even sell bottled water. The inside definitely needed an update. I definitely would not book there again, ever! Nor would I recommend it to anyone.

Bedspread had cigarette holes in it. The sheets had holes also. The pillow had a big hole in it with stuffing coming out. I reported this and they changed the sheets but the bedspread stayed in the corner of the room. Terrible place!

Particularly good and magnificent position in Scranton.
